I need to take more time for myself, intimate time where I can type out my thoughts without fear of feelings, judgment or retaliation.<br /><br />About me -<br /><br />I'm 26, almost 27. Been almost married for 4 years and love most days of it.&nbsp; I've been overweight for as long as I can remember and I've struggled with losing weight for almost that long. I'm a Christ-follower and spend most of my time trying to love others more than I love myself.<br /><br />Did you catch that?&nbsp; You see, God calls us to love others as we love ourselves, to treat others as we want to be treated.&nbsp;&nbsp; If I talked to anyone the way I talk to myself, no one would want to listen. If I loved others the way I love myself, there would be a lot more hurt people in my world. It's important to not be "selfish" but when I neglect myself and my personal needs, that's not healthy or Godly either. <br /><br />When I don't take a small part out of each day to focus on myself, I find myself letting anger, judgement and resentment seep into every aspect of my life. Therefore, the purpose of this blog is pull me away from life - the daily drama of work, friends, church and my side business - so that I can focus on what really matters most in my life:&nbsp;&nbsp; ME.<br /><br />And I do it... from the bubbles! Most of these posts will be typed out from the tub.
